I guess new features will be posted with a poll so we can gauge how much they help our members. Two quick updates to note:
1) Alongside your nicknames, you'll see some numbers (3 at this time).
These numbers correspond to:
a) how many addresses you've posted.
b) how many mail results you've posted.
c) how many forum posts you submitted.
2) The forum member profile page also shows these stats broken down by the past couple months.
For those of you that are contributing a lot, you deserve the credit
 This info should also help people get a feel for the expertise level of other members (if they want to ask questions, etc).
Who knows, it might even make the contests more competitive (and fun) too

It's an expansion of the address request list posted by members.

Hmmmm.... I think it's a lovely feature, but at the moment... if I have to be honest... it looks a bit untidy (the 3 numbers next to names on address pages). Very nice idea though.

Another address site I belong to lets you create a sent list. I thought at one time movieeye had a similar feature, but now I only know how to add my successes or failures. I think the pending list would help people know if anyone had even tried to send letters to the addresses with no positive or negative feedback.
Just a suggestion. It may be helpful, but of course you will run across those that add someone to their sent list and never update it.

I really like that idea! Of course, I have all of mine written down in my little binder here lol, but it would be helpful to have them on the site as well. I know stararchive & mailhollywood have those features.

We'll add a "pending" feature but also keep in mind that your results are also stored in your celebrity diary.

Yes, but she means other than results.. As in...
Mailed off to Meg Ryan on 21 March 2007. Pending.
Then other people can see it on the address page or something, and know who's sent to the address recently. Something like that.

OK that makes sense. If a senior member sends to the address, it does give it more credibility.
Question: If you subsequently post a success or rts for that same address, do you all want the pending status to disappear?

It's just something to show how many people are waiting on a response.
When you click on an address and there's no feedback, I sometimes skip on to the next person on my list. I'd just like to be able to see if people have written to that person at all.
It's sort of like the diary, but it lets you do a pending status and when your letter comes back, your status would no longer be pending. You would have to change it to success or failure.

Pending is such a general word so we went with "expecting"... as in you're expecting a reply from that address.
