Hey everyone, I found out about this event a couple weeks ago and my aunt said that she's taking me to it!! I'm pretty excited. Here's some information from the website:
HORRORFIND WEEKEND 10 MARYLAND
Date: AUGUST 15 - 17, 2008 ::
Location: UMUC Marriott Inn & Conference Center, Adelphi, MD TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR OR PRE-ORDER ONLINE Horrorfind Weekend, a giant horror convention. This one of a kind horror halloween and spooky convention features horror movie celebrities, horror writers, halloween seminars and supernatural speakers as well as a giant dealers room , horror movies and many special events. Thanks Chris, I'm pretty excited! I take tons of GOOD QUALITY pictures, unlike my D.C. shots.
The only people that I am familiar with there are Shawnee Smith (woo!!) and J. LaRose, both from the Saw movies.

I just found out that Shawnee cancelled her appearance for the convention in August. It's not right because it seems like after she signs up for something, she always cancels.

Shawnee sucks she cancels everything but I know you will have a blast HorrorHound in pittsburgh was so cool. They have a 30yearsofterror.com convention in LA in October I want to go to it is all HALLOWEEN tons of guests from every halloween movie. I just don't feel like paying 300 bucks to fly there.

Horrorfind was a blast!! It was a great 13 hours. There was a gigantic dealers room with all kinds of horror movies, books, merchandise, etc. They also had a movie theater where they were playing horror movies non-stop. We saw Night of the Living Dead and a new film called Dismal. It was pretty cool because it was the first public screening. The cast was doing autographs and everything. They also had a celebrity room with dozens of actors, actresses, and authors. I met J. LaRose from Saw III and Dee Wallace from ET and Cujo. I got to take pictures with them and got a couple autographed photos. Both were very nice and down-to-Earth. I tried to get some info. about Saw V from J. but he wouldn't budge.
They also had a giant table with "Free" written on it. They had movie posters, postcards, pens and a whole bunch of stuff. I loved the free table.
I definitely had a great time at the convention. Here's some photos that I took along with my autographs.

Yeah, it was great! They had karyoke and the costume contest really late so I didn't get to go to those. Plus I was hungry and all the restaurants were closed! Maybe next year though.
