When two or three addresses are listed for a celebrity does the order in which they are written have any relevance ie write to address 1 before writing to address 2?

Not necessarily. Unfortunately, sometimes the best one to write is the 3rd or 4th. They get bumped up if someone reports a success with that address.

That is why it is important to scroll through all of the addresses, noting which ones got the most successes, RTSs, etc. and then choose which address to send your letter/request to.

I had a question regarding this topic.  I thought celebs had one agent.  Why do some of the celebs posted here have multiple agencies listed?  I've seen some celebs that have "Creative Artists", "William Morris" and other agencies.  I've heard nightmares about contact through CAA and William Morris.  Is there a way to find out which of these addresses is most valid without sending out five or six requests?

Bill Murray is an example of the multiple agency thing.

Some are for different things.

For example: If a celebrity wrote a book, they would have an agent for that. If they were in a movie/tv show, they would have an agent for that.

The best way to pick a valid address is to look on the Movie Eye results to see who got what back. Whether it is RTS or success, checking the results section would really help.

Unfortunately, some of the celebs I'm looking at have absolutely no history.  Neither RTS or successes.  I guess it will have to be a shot in the dark.

You're right.  It makes sense to have different agents for different venues (singing, acting, writing, etc...).  That way they can have a lawyer that specializes in each.

Well, I hoped I helped a little bit. Good luck with sending!

I have had a success come back from William Morris Agency so you can't count them out completely. I have not heard of any successes from any CAA address except for Tom Cruise.

Sometimes you just have to take a risk when picking which address to write to. You can always post a topic in the Have or Need a celebrity address? forum if you would like to ask if anyone knows which address to write to. In some instances, some of us will know others that have had successes with a particular celebrity, even though no one in this community has reported one.

What would be nice is if more people would post their experiences.  I'm under the impression that there are a lot of "one timers" that use this site.  They get the address they're looking for and then they don't come back.  I like being able to share my experiences, as to help others out.  It really is a beautiful networking thing.

Yeah, that is true, lots of people suscribe here, look some celebrities adresses and then go, never sharing their answers... Confused That's bad... In my case, I want to contact Anthony Kiedis (from Red Hot Chili Peppers), but nobody putted in if they successed or not... I'm going to write him, and I like being able to share the experience, I like helping others.
