I did a trade with Steve A. for a Beatles signed album, Michael Jackson signed photo and a Barack Obama signed photo. I sent the beatles and mj autos to ama for authentication and they both failed. All 4 total signatures were considered fake. So beware when trading. Im not saying steve knew they were fake and im not saying he didnt but I know what I got was 100% garbage.

UPDATE:

Steve contacted me and is sending me a signed TAPS photo and a few autographed cards to make up for a problem he insists he didn't know about. I do believe him that he didn't know it was fake but if large portions of his collection were purchased at the same place I would still be vary nervous about trading any great items.

I tried calling it and warning everyone...

And who did you get them authenticated through?

VERY sorry to hear about that eflatley. Seeing his post, it had fakes written all over it.

IN MY OPINION - I feel Steve knew these were fakes, i base my opinion on past trade posts where he has tried to trade secs and called them authentic. On his old website he claimed ALL his autographs were authentic and had a trading section filled with stamped, preprint and secs. When he was called out on this site he never responded.
Forgetting all the above, real Beatles graphs, a MJ and a Barack Obama would have a value of well over $1000.00 so either Steve is VERY stupid or he knew they were fake. I dont think he is stupid so I am left to believe the other. Again, just my opinion
I commend Cdunn for his warning

PS - If he really did not know, why does he not return your items you traded?

AMA is the site I used for authentication. And yeah I actually didn't realize the value of the Beatles at first as I am not a Beatles fan. It actually can range up to about $10,000 in value. And the Jackson and Obama well I traded him some extremely nice autos so I didn't even question that.

At first glance it was easy to see the Obama, Woods, Pujols, and other items of his were all fake.. I don't know where he got them but they are way, way off.
