	I read an article that said the FBI estimated that about 80% of purchased autographs are fake. So where are some places that would be safe to purchase from?

	Well, not from eBay ... They say about 90% are fakes ... Right after the death of Michael Jackson I notice a ton of fakes out there ... I own a original autograph from him and he has a very unusual autograph ... Sad profiting of a person’s death. This is also the reason why some celebrities don’t like to sign because of people profiting of their image and ripping off their fans. I remember the actor who played C3PO from Star Wars had a battle on his web page with an eBay seller who was selling fake autograph of him ... The eBayer had enough nerve to get upset that he would even question him ... And expose him on his web site. Always best to write them; or try and meet them (the Celebrity) ... The ONLY autograph I ever bought was from a celebrity charity auction (through an reputable local charity) ... And I only paid because it was a cashed check that was signed that cleared a bank. Also, remember PNAs and certificate of authenticities are very easy to fake ...
