Hello to everyone old and new.

Welcome to Movie Eye, and the forums. Please take a moment to introduce yourselves to other members.

I'll start:

Hi everyone. My name is Angela, and I live in Pretoria, South Africa.

My hobbies include travelling, singing, reading, writing books, learning new languages, playing pool, photography, sketching, collecting things, etc.

The main things I collect are autographed photographs and items, antiques, stamps, postcards, teddy bears (yes, I still love my teddy bears!), photographs, dragon ornaments, fairies, candles, and anything African (ornaments, carvings, etc).

I have been to Mozambique, The Maldive Islands, England, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Russia, Belarus, Poland, The Netherlands, Belgium, and France.

I am a wildlife photographer, I own a tour company (Panthera Tours), and I run an online jewellery business.

I am a school crossing patrol, (lollipop lady) and I also work part time in my local British Heart Foundation charity shop. I have been there for 5 years, since it opened.

Hey all! I am new to this site but not new to forum posting. I mostly post on political forums.

I am a huge movie fan. I have over 4,500 DVD's and 1,500 VHS movies.

I am also a huge fan of the tv show Law and Order SVU and Big Brother.

I work full time as a Loss Prevention Agent, arresting people who steal. I only have a couple autographs mostly from major political figures but I would like to get some from the cast of SVU. Has anyone had success?

I am also looking to make new friends worldwide :) I am neve ropposed to new Pen Pals!

Welcome to the forum. If you have a look through the Tips For Beginners section, you'll find a lot of advice on autograph collecting. If you have a look through the main website you will find addresses for your favourite stars from Law and Order, and you'll find that many people have received successes from a lot of them.

Sounds like you have a very interesting job!

Hi my name is Scott and I am new to the forum. I am ill, so I am making this short cause I don't feel good. I saw that a member had success with getting Mickey Rooney's autograph and I was not sure of the address they used. I also saw that another member did not have success. So here goes:

I'm Naomi and I live in The Netherlands (Holland) with my husband and 2 children (boy 5, girl almost 2). I work parttime as a medical secretary in a hospital.

I love movies, all kinds, am a Robbie Williams-fan and a TV-addict

Because I like to receive 'happy' mail (instead of bills) I recently started collecting autographes and I must admit: I am hooked!!

Hi out there!

I'm Barb and I'm new to this so here it goes.

I live on Oahu ( which is a dream come true) with my hubby and my boys (the four legged kind) Jack the English Setter, Harley the Chihuahua, and Ozzie, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

I love the ocean. I like to boogie board at the North Shore. I'm trying to decide if I want to work or remain retired to enjoy the sun, surf and my boys.

HI everyone
My name is Beau4, and I'm from the Netherlands. I'm 33 years old. I life with my dog Jesse, and my two cats Macho and Tattoo. I am a very big movie fan. My favorite actors/actresses are Paul Francis, Johnny Messner, Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts and Sandra Bullock. Some of my favo movies are Erin Brocovich and, of course Die Hard ( all 4).
I also like to read, play pc-games and "surf the net" for info about my favo people.

Hi. I'm Nigel from the UK.

My forum name pinkiebrown comes from the main character in Brighton Rock. The 1947 film starring a very young Sir Richard Attenborough as Pinkie Brown is my all time favourite film and I have a great 8x10 head shot of Sir Richard as Pinkie signed plus the video cover signed by him.

I have been collecting autographs since 1999 and take authentication seriously. I am a member of a few autograph forums so some of you may have come across me elsewhere. I believe all autograph forums and sites compliment each other, as each will have it's own speciality that helps different types of collectors. Information is one of a few keys to making this a successful hobby. I am also an advocate of good ethics in collecting.

You can see a large part of my autograph collection on my website - http://www.cyshp.co.uk/ - I still have a lot to add to it, but all new stuff goes straight on there, and older stuff is added when possible.

I collect autographs as a hobby that can be managed from home, and enjoy the treasured memories it provides of favourite shows, films, sports people, etc. We do not get out much as my wife is bipolar double d, and our daughter is autistic with learning difficulties and has the hearing disorder hyperacusis. Collecting autographs ttm is a great hobby when you do not get out much. I am also planning to have the collection sold when I have passed away so it can be used to help fund a better life for our daughter as basic state care will be limited, and she needs 24hour supervision.

I have already started to add some addresses and successes to MovieEye, and hope I can be a useful part of this online community.

I have been collecting autographs since 1999 and take authentication seriously. I am a member of a few autograph forums so some of you may have come across me elsewhere. I believe all autograph forums and sites compliment each other, as each will have it's own speciality that helps different types of collectors. Information is one of a few keys to making this a successful hobby. I am also an advocate of good ethics in collecting. I collect autographs as a hobby that can be managed from home, and enjoy the treasured memories it provides of favourite shows, films, sports people, etc. We do not get out much as my wife is bipolar double d, and our daughter is autistic with learning difficulties and has the hearing disorder hyperacusis. Collecting autographs ttm is a great hobby when you do not get out much. I am also planning to have the collection sold when I have passed away so it can be used to help fund a better life for our daughter as basic state care will be limited, and she needs 24hour supervision. I have already started to add some addresses and successes to MovieEye, and hope I can be a useful part of this online community.
