I orignally joined to get signatures...but have recently started a new business making baby clothes (knitted and crocheted).  Do you think any of the celebrities would be upset if I wrote to them asking if they would be interested in purchasing an custom made outfit from me?  I was thinking people like Katie and Tom Cruise...and others that have recently had babies.  What do you think?  I made an outfit specifically for "Ella Sophia Gordon" (Jeff Gordon's baby)...but had his address and just sent it to him...spoke to the people at Hendricks and they thought it was a very nice idea....but I did that one without expecting to be paid for my work.  Any ideas?

You've been doing this for a while, so you may be right.  I did send an outfit (no charge) to Jeff Gordon....hopefully he will spread the word that I did this....also wrote a couple letters and sent out my business card....we'll see if anyone replies.  Mostly I am just asking them to check out my website....no obligation.....you never know.....Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

And secondly, not everyone has a scanner, and no, not everyone can afford to just go an buy one. So it's impossible for them to upload pictures of their successes.

 

It's not about the private message thing, i am not really interested to tell a total stranger that his/her autograph is actually a printed or stamped or autopened.

 

Just use words to report a success is misleading sometimes....Many people do not have knowledge to tell if they got a real auto or not. That's why they need other people's comments and also show other people your picture.

 

What i mean is disscussion provided in Movie Eyes. There is none in the main site. That's why i like Fanmail.biz better than here. When someone has a success, experienced people are making comments on that. It would educate more people by reading those comments.

 

Who tell you that you must have a scanner to upload the image, if you have digital camera or cell phone with camera or internet camera, you can take picture. Otherwise, who knows if that person really receive the auto.

 

Without any photos proof, I would simple report I send my mail request two month ago, and today received a Bruce Willis's success (in fact this person never replies any mails), are you going to believe me? I think lots of people will, and they are going to send to that address which would never work....

 

Anyway, if you guys are happy just look at some words report, it's up to you...

 

The difference in MovieEye and fanmail.biz is that many of our members pay for their membership. We don't have a lot of that nonsense here.

 

I have been on the fanmail.biz forums and people do not always tell the poster that their autograph is not authentic.
